Los Angeles, 24 de octubre de 2026.- Ethan Klein habló después del colapso de su matrimonio y del H3 Podcast debido a las acusaciones de infidelidad de su esposa, Hila Klein, quien públicamente lo acusó de tener una aventura romántica de más de seis meses. En una publicación de seguimiento, Ethan confirmó que está en proceso de cortar completamente los lazos con el H3 Podcast.
"I am working with Hila to urgently remove my ownership and financial stakes in any podcasts, [Hila’s businesses] Teddy Fresh, Teddy Glow or any joint venture that I would profit from. All of your support will go directly to Hila and the crew", escribió Ethan. Y agregó: "I do this in the hope that people can still support Hila and the Crew without the concern of enriching me. I know the crew will make an awesome show, they are packed to the brim with the most talented, creative, hilarious and all around great people".
En una Instagram Story del viernes, Ethan pidió a los fans: "I know a lot of people are understandably looking for a comment from me, but I ask that you please respect my family’s privacy and do not contact them looking for me or asking for their comments. They have nothing to do with this and share in your outrage and disappointment. Thank you".
El equipo de producción del podcast se puso del lado de Hila y acordó por unanimidad cortar lazos con Ethan. En una declaración publicada en Instagram, el equipo escribió: "We are all shocked, angry, and heartbroken to learn about Ethan’s ongoing affair. As soon as we found out, we all agreed: we would not continue working with Ethan involved or profiting in any way". Y añadió: "We don’t yet know what that means for the future. There’s a lot to work through, and we wish we had more answers for you".
El equipo también expresó: "We stand with Hila and will support her every step of the way. We’re disgusted by Ethan’s actions and the hurt he has caused. We all deserved better: Hila, us, and you". En otro mensaje señaló: "Please know that we’re safe, we’re sticking together, and we’re looking after each other. We’ve put so much of ourselves into this show, and it’s hard to find the words for what we’re feeling right now. Thank you for giving us some time to figure things out, and for all the love you’ve shown us. We love you, and we miss you already".
Hila compartió en Instagram la noche del jueves que se enteró de que su esposo había tenido una aventura. "I am living a nightmare I can’t wake up from. My husband has been having an affair. I have been fed lie after lie after lie for months. Here is the truth", escribió. Sobre cómo lo descubrió, relató: "Eventually, he was caught in a lie, and I knew I was done. But the lies continued. ‘It was just a kiss’ became ‘it was emotional cheating.’ After I dragged these lies from him, he finally admitted he’d been in an affair for over 6 months, the extent of which I’m sure I still don’t know".
Hila describió el impacto: "The betrayal I feel is immeasurable. The person I loved and trusted for 20 years evaporated overnight. He was my safe place, my partner in marriage, parenting, and business. My only family on this side of the world. How do I even begin to make sense of this?". Y concluyó: "I don’t know what comes next; I’ve never been here before. I am in survival mode, trying to navigate separation, co-parenting, and unthinkable heartbreak. All I can do right now is focus on taking care of myself and my children, one day at a time. You’re not crazy. Trust your instincts. Trust yourself. If you’re not being treated right, get up and leave".
Ethan y Hila se conocieron en 2007, construyeron sus carreras en YouTube juntos y se casaron en 2012. La pareja, radicada en Los Ángeles, tiene tres hijos. Co-presentan H3 en su canal de YouTube, que ha acumulado 2.5 millones de seguidores. Lanzaron el H3 Podcast en 2016; el programa ha presentado entrevistas con Post Malone, MrBeast y Jack Black, y ha sido nominado a mejor podcast en los Streamy Awards cinco veces. Ethan anteriormente co-presentó el podcast Frenemies junto a Trisha Paytas, quien está casada con el hermano de Hila, Moses Hacmon; ese podcast se canceló tras un desacuerdo.
