Amy Poehler recibe premio a la innovación en comedia en los WSJ Magazine Innovator Awards

Nueva York, 01 de noviembre de 2026.- Amy Poehler recibió un reconocimiento en los WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards, en una ceremonia celebrada el jueves en el Museum of Modern Art de la ciudad de Nueva York.
Marcello Hernández, estrella de 'Saturday Night Live', fue el encargado de presentar el premio a Poehler. Hernández elogió la brillantez cómica de la actriz y la llamó 'baller' y 'gift'.
Poehler, conocida por su trabajo en 'SNL', 'Parks and Recreation' y su podcast 'Good Hang', aceptó el premio a la innovación en comedia.
Al recibir el galardón, la comediante habló sobre el valor de la risa: "There’s no greater joy for me than laughing at people who I love — laughing with them and at them, both! And them laughing with me".
"Comedy, in many ways, has saved my life many times", expresó Poehler, quien atribuyó ese efecto a "the people I get to meet and who I get to work with".
En su discurso, la actriz reflexionó sobre la presencia y el papel del arte: "I was thinking about the way in which we often insist on being in the present moment. There’s a lot of discussion about remembering where you are, and seeing where your feet are, and staying exactly where you’re supposed to be: present".
"A lot of people in this room help us get away from where we are. A lot of people in this room transport us. I think where we are isn’t often very good. We don’t always want to be feeling what we’re feeling. We don’t always want to be present with what we have going on in our lives", agregó.
Poehler cerró con un agradecimiento a los artistas presentes: "The storytellers here and the artists here have certainly transported me. They’ve taken me to the future, to the past. They’ve taken me right next door. They let me ride on their wings and their talent. If ‘Good Hang’ or any of the stuff I’ve ever done made anybody else feel that way, I am very, very grateful".
Otros homenajeados en la ceremonia fueron Rosalía en la categoría de música, Martin McDonagh en cine, los Savannah Bananas en deportes, Matthieu Blazy en moda, Marlon James en literatura y Demis Hassabis en tecnología. Entre los presentadores presentes estuvieron Dua Lipa, A$AP Rocky, Patti Smith y Seth Meyers.
