Entre las reacciones, Jonathan Sim escribió: "THE SOCIAL RECKONING is a decent journalism drama that lives in the shadow of its much superior predecessor. An okay script with okay direction. Nothing stands out as special beyond strong performances from Strong and Madison. Sorkin's done better, but still thought-provoking." Matt Neglia comentó: "THE SOCIAL RECKONING is an old-fashioned investigative journalism drama from Aaron Sorkin examining the dangers and manipulations of Facebook, as they prioritize profits over people at an alarming rate of growth. As usual with Sorkin, it moves at a good pace, plowing through…" Scott Menzel afirmó: "THE SOCIAL RECKONING is a true return to form for Aaron Sorkin and easily his best film since Molly's Game. I was deeply engaged and entertained from pretty much beginning to end. The film really reminds you of just how far technology has come and how much smarter and scarier it…"
Bill Bria señaló: "#TheSocialReckoning is impeccably researched. Unfortunately, it's far too preoccupied with its intelligence, making it more lecture than cinema. Sorkin erroneously believes his verbose dialogue is enough to evoke Frank Capra; he doesn't realize that he needs the passion, too." Zach Pope escribió: "#TheSocialReckoning is better than expected, but still slightly disappointing because it never delivers the IMPACT its story feels like it needed The film throws a ton of information, context, and material that could hit incredibly hard if you weren't closely following…" Jeff Conway opinó: "THE SOCIAL RECKONING is essential viewing! A thoughtful, uncomfortable yet brutally important true story about the highs-and-lows of our digital communication era, social media, the rise of misinformation and free speech. Aaron Sorkin delivers a stellar and unflinching…"
Daniel Howat comentó: "THE SOCIAL RECKONING is a capable journalism drama about the social cancer we already know. It's informative, though not necessarily compelling, given the unsatisfying reality we're still living in. Good performances and a classic, rhythmic script from Sorkin. Solid as a whole." Luke Hearfield expresó: "As someone who went into this as a complete skeptic, I'm delighted to say that Aaron Sorkin has proven me wrong. Not only is The Social Reckoning a solid sequel, it completely justifies its existence as a scathing indictment of the current tumultuous state of society in both the…" The HoloFiles escribió: "THE SOCIAL RECKONING lacks the distinctive Fincher flair that characterized The Social Network and is a bit clunky at times, but Aaron Sorkin once again delivers where it counts with fast, razor sharp, rhythmic dialogue. A few lines in particular resonate so strongly in an…"
Showbiz 411 publicó: "The Social Reckoning is solid. Strong screenplay and excellent cast. Both Jeremy's are very good. Mikey Madison is more than Anora." Max Dinenberg dijo: "#TheSocialReckoning is a frustrating watch. The way it explores the dangers of social media is fascinating. Burr and Gilpin are standouts. Sadly the film has no electricity. The direction is bland, the score adds nothing and it feels like a boring version of a great movie." sagesurge comentó: "Aaron Sorkin, come get your Oscar nom for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Editing and Best Adapted Screenplay. #TheSocialReckoning is an absolute horrifying retelling of Facebook weaponizing hatred for profit & its global mental, physical, psychological political consequences"
Paul Klein escribió: "There's an irony in #TheSocialReckoning being guilty of the very thing it's criticising. Surely misses the Fincher magic and some of the acting is poor. All in all a shrug of a film. Like… ok." patrick. comentó: "THE SOCIAL RECKONING – Cinematically engineered for dads that watch movies while standing. Very 2000s TV feeling (complimentary) and Strong is nuts as Zuckerberg with limited screen time. The matinee coffee instead of a popcorn crowd will LOVE this one." Mike Winkler dijo: "#TheSocialReckoning is not better than the previous film, but, it still has some really good moments & great performances from Madison & Allen White. Eisbenberg is missed. Some of the J6 stuff though is not wholly accurate. Still a nice companion piece to "The Social Network"."
CarlKakaFOTF escribió: "#TheSocialReckoning is a well acted, slow burning drama that, despite being a slog at times, is a superb true life drama. It brings home the truth of the Facebook whistleblower in a terrifically measured way, thanks to some Oscar-Worthy performances. Very good." Manuel São Bento comentó: "THE SOCIAL RECKONING / #TheSocialReckoning sits on the same pedestal as THE SOCIAL NETWORK for me & here's an add-on to that already massively hot take: this one matters more! Aaron Sorkin turns the Facebook Files into an infuriating film about a company that knew exactly what it…" Stephen Smith escribió: "As an old hack, I found #thesocialreckoning touchingly stirring in its storyline of newspapers telling uncomfortable truths about social media. Good on Aaron Sorkin! Mikey Madison good as nerdy whistleblower; I like Jeremy Allen White but I'm afraid he's as placid & one-note as.."
Cameron Howe opinó: "Pleasantly surprised by #TheSocialReckoning. Sorkin still has it as a writer but still very flat as a director. Randomly very funny which feels like it under cuts the film. Strong's Zuckerberg feels under used and a little pointless also why don't you just say Trump." Leo Rydel dijo: "WOOOO #TheSocialReckoning was great! Sorkin put that pen to WORK in this riveting, slow burn drama anchored superbly by incredible acting from Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White. Strong and Burr uphold a gripping duel as well. While slow at times, this was SOLID." Matthew comentó: "Watched #TheSocialReckoning yesterday evening @CentralPictureH it's definitely one of those intelligent, beautifully crafted movies with some outstanding acting. Nevertheless some parts were so slow at times, you'd swear you were stuck scrolling through a never-ending long post.…"
Danny Jarabek escribió: "#TheSocialReckoning is miserable. It finally decides to wake up near the end, but it's a day late and a dollar short (or 5 years late and a trillion $ short). Message is there, but the presentation is so monotonous that it has nothing to add beyond just reading the FB files." Tom Chatalbash comentó: "#TheSocialReckoning is a timely and compelling companion piece to The Social Network, sharing more DNA with Sorkin's The Newsroom than its predecessor however. Madison and Allen White are quietly magnetic, Burr and Gilpin seem born and bred to deliver Sorkin dialogue and Strong…" Nandita dijo: "Sorkin forgive me for not expecting much from #TheSocialReckoning because this blew me away. No stone is left unturned and does not shy away from being a scathing yet informative assessment of the responsibility of big tech companies today. So timely that it hurts."
