Sobre la recepción dispar del arranque, Brammall comentó: "Australia and the U.K. didn't have a problem with it. That's funny. These two strangers meet at an intersection, she flashes her nipple, he gets distracted, he hits a dog. It's hilarious. In America… not so hilarious".
El actor también se refirió al título de la serie: "There was a bit of pushback. Because Colin from Accounts does not sound like what the show is. Our only alt title was Dog with Wheels, which wasn't very good either". Y aclaró sobre el animal: "The dog's fine and he's very well cared for". El perro que interpreta a Colin se llama Zak y, según Brammall, era muy profesional: "Zak is one of the best boys. He was more professional than many of the humans there — so much so that Harriet sometimes we'd have to get like a bit of turkey on us so that looked like he was doing something. He was very comfortable in the wheelchair, but he'd just sit there".
Sobre cómo llegó al proyecto, explicó: "A couple of doors have opened, and it's probably a result of the combination of the lot. I know Colin opened doors, because I wouldn't have the offer for Prada because the writer (Aline Brosh McKenna) and director (David Frankel) were huge Colin fans".
I've got some notes. This isn't Colin from Accounts. Stop gesticulating. Like, just be still. This needs to be a leading man. This is a thriller".
"That show is so good. And those last couple of seasons, I would just show show up with the script and go, 'Well, what the fuck's happening to me now?'", recordó. I had this final scene with with Katja Herbers. She was smashing stuff and telling me what's what, and I looked out the window like, 'I guess that's the end of Andy's story'".
"Only once — and even then it wasn't that traditional. I did a show called No Activity for CBS All Access", dijo sobre su paso por ese formato.
Su hija mayor asistió a seis escuelas en dieciocho meses: "Dude, tell me about it. Just going back for Christmas to Australia is a siege. Recently, our eldest did something like six schools in eighteen months. She didn't know where the fuck she was. So when we got back to L.A., it was like, let's just stop for a minute". It would be if she accepted that I voiced a character on Bluey. She will not. I tried to tell her once, because I'm a sad man. I'm like, 'Hey, do you recognize that voice? Is that dad?' And she just looked at me like, 'Don't ruin this for me.' Like, fuck off, mate".
Sobre la acumulación de proyectos en el último año, Brammall resumió: "I think we've all had a year, the same year, 2026". Y agregó: "Yeah, it was mine. You've all been having my year. It's pretty mental, isn't it?".
