Netflix transmite 27 minutos de gameplay inédito de GTA 6 en exclusiva temporal

Ciudad de Mexico, 28 de agosto de 2026.- Netflix lanzó 27 minutos de nuevo contenido de 'Grand Theft Auto 6' el jueves a las 3 p.m. ET en colaboración con Rockstar Games, antes del lanzamiento de noviembre del título. El evento, anunciado a principios de este mes, presentó el especial 'Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look', capturado completamente desde el juego en PlayStation 5.
El contenido muestra a los protagonistas Jason y Lucía en escenas cinematográficas y de juego en la ficticia Vice City. La descripción oficial del juego señala: "Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida – forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive".
Rockstar Games declaró que Netflix será el hogar exclusivo del especial durante seis horas, antes de que el material se publique en YouTube y otras plataformas a las 9 p.m. ET. Sobre la alianza, Netflix indicó: "This trailblazing partnership with Rockstar Games elevates games to the center of modern culture — bringing an in-depth look at one of the most anticipated releases in the history of entertainment to Netflix subscribers first". La empresa describió el evento como "la próxima evolución de la narración y el contenido" en su plataforma.
Justo antes de la revelación, los informes de error de usuario para Netflix aumentaron, alcanzando 3,129 reportes a las 2:49 p.m. ET, según Downdetector.com. Este estreno ocurre tras una semana complicada para la desarrolladora, donde varios videos de gameplay fueron publicados por un grupo de hackers llamado CyberLeek, quienes afirman haber obtenido una versión jugable del juego.
Rockstar Games presentó citaciones relacionadas con las filtraciones la semana pasada y emitió su primera declaración sobre la situación el miércoles, previo al debut del metraje en Netflix. En dicho comunicado, la compañía expresó: "Dear all, We know that many of you have been waiting to hear from us regarding the events of the past week. It would be an understatement to say that having videos of Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay leak in this way has been heartbreaking for our team, and this is obviously not how we intended for you to see the game after all this time. We are very sorry that everything has taken as long as it has — from getting the game finished (nearly there!) to sharing more details and offici".
El juego está programado para lanzarse para PS5 y Xbox Series X y S el 19 de noviembre.
