Kimberly Hefner defiende a Hugh Hefner tras las acusaciones de Crystal Harris

Ciudad de Mexico, 12 de octubre de 2026.- Kimberly Hefner, quien estuvo casada con Hugh Hefner desde 1989 hasta que su divorcio se finalizó en 2010, publicó en redes sociales una declaración en apoyo a su difunto esposo, luego de que Crystal Harris alegara haber experimentado abuso sexual, emocional, financiero y físico mientras estuvo casada con el fundador de Playboy.
Harris compartió su historia después de la noticia de que Jessica Biel interpretaría a una versión ficticia de la esposa de Hefner en la próxima película 'Playmates'.
En su mensaje, Kimberly Hefner escribió que estuvo casada con Hef por más de 21 años y que criaron juntos 2 hijos maravillosos. "I was married to Hef for over 21 years. We shared a lifetime of beautiful memories, raised 2 wonderful sons together, and had a deeply loving bond that remained strong until his passing on September 27th, 2017 and continues with me to this day", señaló.
La exesposa del fundador de Playboy también afirmó: "I often told him if you look up the word gentleman in the dictionary you would find his name and photograph. Hef was in every sense of the word, a true gentleman, kind, loving, generous, philanthropic, and a man of extraordinary character".
"Losing Hef was devastating, and his absence is still deeply felt. I had the privilege of knowing and loving the man behind the public image, and I will always treasure the life and memories we shared. I will always believe the world was a better place because he was in it. I am forever grateful and blessed", agregó Kimberly Hefner.
Kimberly y Hugh se conocieron cuando ella modelaba para el centro desplegable de Playmate of the Month de Playboy. Hugh, en tanto, conoció a Harris en una fiesta de Halloween en la Mansión Playboy cuando ella era una estudiante universitaria de 21 años. Harris se mudó a la mansión poco después y se casó con Hugh en 2012; permanecieron juntos hasta la muerte de él en septiembre de 2017. Harris publicó su memoria de 2024 'Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself', en la que reveló sus experiencias en la mansión.
La película 'Playmates' girará en torno a "Elle (Indiana Elle), a 13-year-old know-it-all who considers the Playboy Mansion her second home, and meets Anna (Lily-Rose Depp), one of seven hopefuls vying to be Playmate of the Month", según la sinopsis. "The two form an unlikely friendship and try to help each other get what the other wants most, a magazine cover and a boy", añade el texto.
Lorraine Nicholson, hija de Jack Nicholson, escribe y dirige la película de Searchlight, en la que Bill Pullman protagonizará como Hugh.
