Crystal Harris pide a Jessica Biel reconsiderar su papel como esposa de Hugh Hefner en 'Playmates'

Ciudad de Mexico, 09 de octubre de 2026.- Crystal Harris, exesposa de Hugh Hefner, instó a Jessica Biel a reconsiderar su decisión de interpretar una versión ficticia de la esposa del fundador de Playboy en 'Playmates', la cinta dirigida por Lorraine Nicholson.
Harris publicó una captura de pantalla de un mensaje de Instagram que envió a la actriz de '7th Heaven' después de que se anunciara su casting esta semana.
En el mensaje, Harris escribió: "Please reconsider playing Hugh Hefner's wife if this film intends to romanticize him or the Playboy world. I was actually his wife, and I experienced sexual, emotional, financial and physical abuse in that relationship".
La exesposa de Hefner añadió que "many other woman have come forward with allegations of rape, coercion, drugging and exploitation as well. There are also deeply troubling concerns involving minors. I hope everyone involved this film takes the time to listen the women who lived it before helping Hollywood turn it back into nostalgia".
Harris y Hefner estuvieron casados de 2012 a 2017, hasta el momento de su muerte. La propia Harris habló sobre su experiencia como esposa de Hefner en sus memorias de 2024 y también se pronunció en febrero contra el manejo de los documentos privados de Hefner por parte de su fundación, específicamente álbumes de recortes explícitos, que según ella "may include images of girls who were underage at the time and could not consent to how their images would be retained or controlled".
'Playmates' marcará el debut como directora de Nicholson. Lily-Rose Depp protagonizará junto a Indiana Elle, quien interpretó a la hija de Amanda Seyfried en 'The Housemaid', y Bill Pullman interpretará a Hefner.
Según Searchlight Pictures, la película se centra en "Elle, a 13-year-old know-it-all who considers the Playboy Mansion her second home, and who meets Anna, one of seven hopefuls vying to be Playmate of the Month. The two form an unlikely friendship as each tries to help get what the other wants most, a magazine cover and a boy".
