Chris Colfer dice que no sabe "nada" sobre un posible reboot de Glee

Ciudad de Mexico, 07 de octubre de 2026.- Chris Colfer abordó si aparecería en un posible revival de Glee y dijo a Bustle en una entrevista publicada el martes que no sabe "nada" y ha "escuchado absolutamente nada" sobre un reboot de la serie.
El actor, que interpretó a Kurt Hummel en la serie musical de Fox durante seis temporadas, respondió así cuando se le preguntó sobre el proyecto. "I wish I did", declaró Colfer.
El posible revival cobró fuerza después de que Ryan Murphy revelara en una entrevista de agosto con The Hollywood Reporter que estaba considerando revivir Glee, y citó a los fans de la serie como la razón detrás de esa posibilidad. "For many, many people now in their 20s, they grew up on that show and it meant something to them. The music meant something. So, let's kick it around and see what we get. It's always about the story for me", dijo Murphy entonces.
Un mes después, Murphy dijo que él y sus colaboradores, Brad Falchuk e Ian Brennan, completaron un guion para el reboot. "Brad and Ian and I, who wrote all [of the] first two seasons, have written something. I've been in touch with around 10 of the original castmembers, and it's very sweet — they all had a lot of questions, but they all were very enthusiastic about the idea. Nobody has read it. So I don't know, we'll see. I vowed to myself that I wanted to write a couple of them to see what people think, particularly the cast, because we were very close when we were making it", dijo Murphy a Entertainment Tonight en septiembre.
Colfer también se refirió a las dificultades de retomar el proyecto. "It was a really tough show to do, and it would be really hard to do it now that Naya [Rivera] is gone. But I do know that Glee fans would probably come after me with pitchforks and jazz hands if I said no", señaló.
Lea Michele, otra de las integrantes del elenco original, respondió a los informes de un revival en una entrevista con E! News en septiembre, diciendo que "will follow Ryan wherever he goes".
Glee se emitió en Fox de 2009 a 2015 y ganó seis premios Emmy. La serie seguía a un club de glee en la ficticia William McKinley High School y al director y maestro de estudiantes Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison).
Lea Michele, Amber Riley, Dianna Agron, Chord Overstreet, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Heather Morris, Harry Shum Jr., Darren Criss y Jane Lynch fueron parte del elenco, así como los fallecidos Cory Monteith, Naya Rivera y Mark Salling.
