Brian Kavanaugh-Jones se une a Oddfellows como socio y copresidente

Los Angeles, 24 de agosto de 2026.- Brian Kavanaugh-Jones ha dejado Range Media Partners para unirse a Oddfellows, productora de Backrooms, como socio y copresidente, junto al fundador del estudio Chris Ferguson.
La incorporación de Kavanaugh-Jones a Oddfellows se produce después de que Ferguson firmara un acuerdo de primera opción con Warner Bros. Picture Group. En su nuevo rol, el ejecutivo se centrará en la producción y el crecimiento estratégico de la compañía.
La dupla ha producido 24 proyectos de cine y televisión juntos desde 2013, incluyendo The Monkey, Longlegs y el próximo The Young People de Osgood Perkins. Ferguson también produjo Backrooms de Kane Parsons, la película más taquillera de A24 con 396 millones de dólares en taquilla global.
Kavanaugh-Jones deja su cargo de copresidente de Range Media Partners, puesto que ocupaba junto a Fred Berger. Con dicha firma, ambos produjeron la biografía de Bob Dylan A Complete Unknown de James Mangold, y The Bikeriders, escrita y dirigida por Jeff Nichols, entre otros créditos.

He brings phenomenal taste and talent relationships alongside a wide ranging entrepreneurial vision that is going to be vital to plotting out an ambitious course in this new chapter for the company. Beyond all that we've had nothing but fun producing movies all over the world together for the last 15 years and I look forward to doing it for 15 more", dijo Chris Ferguson.
Por su parte, Kavanaugh-Jones declaró: "My partnership with Fred Berger has meant the world to me. Over 10 years and 60 movies together, he's been my rock personally and professionally. These last years together at Range have been some of the best of our career. Fred, Peter Micelli, Jack Whigham and all the partners at Range have been exceptional colleagues and collaborators. I am deeply grateful for their partnership, now and into the future".
Fred Berger comentó sobre la salida de su colega: "Brian's been more than a producing partner — he's family. I'm so proud of what we built together over the last decade from Automatik to Range, and am excited to keep working with him and Chris in this new chapter".
